From going and attending the gallary show, I learned how amazing it is to have other people admire the work we worked so hard on all year. Advice I would give to students taking AP Art next year would be to get the work done as soon as you can, and don't put it off. This year, I really enjoyed learning all the different ways everything affects how pictures turn out. I learned that it is important for me to push myself to really focus on what I'm working on, and that I can do well if I work on it. I think that in the future, I will know that I need to push myself to work hard on things.
My concentration series is based on finding the lighter sides of life through abstraction. Principles of design I will use are color, light and strange eye levels. I personally connect with this idea because I find that it is easier to see why life can suck, but I also believe that if you pay a little more attention, you can see brighter sides to what seemed dark before.

This week, when I was taking my pictures, I tried to focus on how the light affects how they turn out. The pictures I am uploading were the ones that I felt looked the most intriguing with the effect of the light. I used natural light for the pictures and liked how they turned out.
